General E. W. Rawlings Chapter
The Air Force Association's
Welcome to the General E. W. Rawlings Chapter AFA of the Twin Cities area, #213. This chapter, named in the honor of an outstanding AFA member and local community leader, is the largest of two chapters in Minnesota. Our membership is drawn from central to southern MN. Our members are both military and civilian; active duty and retired. They represent the aerospace industry, busineses, schools and the community at large.

Rawlings is active in community charitable giving. Funding for these activities is largely acquired through proceeds of two local gaming concessions. Chapter members manage these concessions and address local community needs in fulfillment of the Rawlings mission statement.

Members serve on committees, run special events, mentor new volunteers and students for future Air Force, AFA and community leadership

We invite you to become a member of AFA. Join us as we work to develop new leaders and to support local Air Force and aerospace related activities.

Mission Statement:

As part of The Air Force Association, the General EW  Rawlings Chapter educates the local community about the critical role of aerospace power in the defense of our nation; advocates aerospace power and a strong national defense; and supports the United States Air Force, the Air Force Family and aerospace education.
